Know Your Program
It's you
Your program. What do I mean by that?
We’ll use the old computer analogy. It’s not even close to what is really going on with us but it gets the message across I think.
Basically it’s inputs creates outputs. What you take in — by food, air, water, living conditions, family and other relationships, religion, books, conversations, you name it.
You know in order to learn something you have to do it over and over; depending on the complexity of the thing you’re learning. You’re programming your muscle memory if it is a physical thing. The mind too. But have you thought about how other inputs affect your mind and therefore your program?
The program that becomes you. If you spend most of your time going to Church, voluteering to help others, reading and studying religious material, praying for yourself and others, then you will obviously (I hope) have a perspective, paradigm, or worldview that makes sense with your programming. You can’t get away from it. You can be aware of what is going on to be sure you are not being manipulated with the inputs you are taking in, but they will affect you. You can be sure the politicians and ‘elites’ know this and use it. To great success when you sit back and look at the big picture.
In today’s world a large part of ongoing programming is through the Media of TV, radio, and the Internet.
Below are two short videos I created to show a segment of media that concerns many at this time. That concern is media bias. Just a little perspective here, easy viewing and listening.
I am using the allsides.com website in these. I am not saying that this site is what you need to use to find resources for news. I mean you can, but this is mainstream media focused and their are other places for more honest, and at least less propaganda, views. I use this because it makes it kind of easy to see how things are brought to you with bias.
The next one here just goes into a little detail about what you can find here and how you can affect it.
Thanks for taking the time. My substack is free. So feel free to subscribe.
